1. Who we are
Financial Connect CPA PLLC ("Financial Connect," "we," "us," or "our") provides accounting, advisory, assurance, tax, and ITIN services. Our website is https://www.financial-connect.com/. You can reach us at info@financial-connect.com or +1 (443) 338-0474.
2. What information we collect
Contact form. When you submit the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and the message you provide. This information is transmitted to our form processor (Formspree, Inc.) and forwarded to our team email. We do not store form submissions on our own servers.
Service intake forms. If you choose to complete a service intake — such as the ITIN (Form W-7) application intake — we collect the information you enter, which can include your name, date of birth, mailing and foreign addresses, citizenship, identity-document details (such as a passport or visa number), prior ITIN information, and, where the form requires it, details about a related U.S. person. Intake submissions are transmitted through Formspree, Inc. to our team email, are used only to review and prepare your engagement, and are deleted when no longer needed. Do not upload or attach identity documents to an intake form — we collect supporting documents only through a secure channel after reviewing your intake.
Payments. Payments are handled exclusively by Stripe, Inc. When you click "Pay securely with Stripe," you are redirected to a Stripe-hosted payment page. We never see, receive, or store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs data collected during payment processing: stripe.com/privacy.
Interactive self-checks. The free tax, accounting, and advisory self-checks under our Tools section process your answers entirely in your browser. Those answers are never transmitted to our servers, stored, or associated with your identity. (This applies to the self-check tools only — contact and intake forms are transmitted as described above.)
Web fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when fonts are requested. Google's privacy policy applies to that processing.
Analytics and log data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, language selection and high-level interactions such as contact, scheduling, phone, email, payment-link and self-check activity. We do not send form answers, tax information or other sensitive field contents to analytics. Our hosting provider, Vercel, also provides privacy-focused Web Analytics, Speed Insights and standard server logs so we can understand aggregate traffic and improve site performance. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies; Vercel Web Analytics uses anonymized, cookieless measurements.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your inquiry or to review and prepare the service you requested. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.
4. Data retention
Contact form and service intake submissions are retained in our email inbox and deleted when no longer needed for the business relationship. If you become a client, your information is handled under our engagement letter and applicable professional standards, including AICPA and state CPA board confidentiality requirements.
5. Your rights
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable privacy laws, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. 6. Security
Our website is served over HTTPS. We use Formspree for form handling and Stripe — a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor — for payments. Client documents shared during an engagement are handled through secure portals with encryption in transit and at rest.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by updating that date.
